  • Detailed examination of each lower and uppercase letter
  • Full word practice
  • Exercises to strengthen foundational pen control and arm movement skills
  • Exercises focusing on achieving consistency and fluidity in of strokes and spacing
  • Foundational principles of the script, including understanding the basic strokes that create the letter forms
  • Technical structure of lowercase and uppercase letters following historic exemplars.

About Kalo:

Kalo, a classically trained calligrapher, has championed the art of handwriting through hosting workshops and events at her Hong Kong studio. In 2020, she became the first pen lady in Hong Kong to earn IAMPETH Certificates of Excellence in both Engrosser's and Spencerian scripts. Kalo is known to her calligraphy friends as a passionate ball of energy, always ready to participate in any challenge.
